Objectives of the Course

To provide basic knowledge about pedology, soil morphology, genesis, and classification.

Course Content

The concept of pedology, scientific methods of pedology, models, diagnostic horizons and soil evaluation, soil forming process, categories of soil taxonomy, classification of soils, FAO/UNESCO classification system
