In recent years, the use of bee products in the field of human and animal health, food and cosmetics industry has started to increase especially in developed countries, and in this sense, nowadays, scientific studies on the content, effects and usage of these products are increasing. This course has the aim of examining the content, biological activities of each bee product used in apitherapy, informing the students about the results of scientific studies and their usage areas especially in the field of animal husbandry, and directing them into a new areas of employment. In addition, within the scope of the Erasmus + Program Higher Education Area Strategic Partnerships 2017-1-TR01-KA203-045990 recorded project supported by the European Union within the scope of the Strategic Partnerships, Be (e) therapy “Therapeutic Effects of Apitherapy in Higher Education", it is aimed to establish a course in higher education in Europe and to inform and direct the master's and doctoral students about this subject.
Definition of apiterapine, its history, its importance in terms of human and animal health, the content of each of the bee products used in apitherapy, biological activity, animal husbandry, animal health, the effects of feeding and animal products, scientific studies related to the subject, products, current problems information about the future will be given.
