Objectives of the Course

Causes of hepatic diseases (toxic, infectious, inflammatory, neoplastic, metabolic, and obstructive) in cattle, sheep, goats and horses, clinical findings of hepatic failure, biochemical tests assessing the cell necrosis, cholestasis, capacity of synthesis with bile acids and bilirubin metabolism, metabolic load tests, ultrasonographic examination, hepatic biopsy, investigation of the symptomatic and etiological treatment.
