Objectives of the Course

Introduction of main horse breeds over the World and in Turkey, signalement of horses, care and feeding of horses and general knowledge about horse races.

Course Content

Origin of horse, classification of horse breeds, morphological evaluation, morphological and physiological traits of Arabian, Thoroughbred and Haflinger horse breeds, local horse breeds of Turkey, barns, preparing horses for races and exercise, horse race organisations.
