Objectives of the Course

General traits of ostrich, ostrich population in Turkey and in the World, production traits of ostrich, housing conditions, parent stock problems, hatching, some useful rules that should be obeyed in ostrich rearing, ostrich marketing and market conditions, common rearing problems and its solving methods.

Course Content

Present status of ostrich rearing in Turkey and in the World, ostrich races, production traits in ostriches, housing and feeding principles, and general structure of ostrich farms.
