To teach the basic principles of commercial layer chicken rearing.
General traits of commercial layers, chick nourishing and its importance, the age of sexual maturity, egg production line, factors affecting egg production, vaccination and parasite fighting, egg grading, cage layer fatigue, sustainable egg production, egg marketing, present hybrid layer genotypes and its traits, and practical rearing applications.
