Objectives of the Course

The objective of this course, being have knowledge about which tick species of the domesticated animals, distribution, identification of tick species, medical importance of ticks, control methods against ticks

Course Content

Diagnose in Ixodidae and Argasidae tick species, morphology of Ixodes, Hyolamma, Amblyomma, Rhipicephalus, Boophilus, Dermacentor, Haemaphysalis, Argas ve Ornitodorus tick species, diagnostic criteria of larvae, nymph, adult male and female
