Objectives of the Course

To understand the classification scheme of important protozoans of domestic animals, their morphology, biology, symptoms of diseases they cause, methods used for the treatment, prevention and control of diseases they cause.

Course Content

Clasification of important protozoans such as Trypanosama, Leishmania, Giardia, Entomoeba, Histomonas ect. , their morphology, biology, symptoms of diseases they cause, methods used for the treatment, prevention and control of diseases they cause, clinical symptoms of diseses they cause in humans, preventive measures taken for the protection of humans .

2.To gain information on how protozoans infect animals, symptomps and economical aspects of diseases they cause.
3.To know diagnostic methods for these diseases.

5.Know how to treat animals infected with these parasites.
