Objectives of the Course

The objective of this course is to teach the diagnosis, treatment and control methods for theileriosis ve babesiosis and to maket he student comprehend their importance fort he animal husbandry in Turkey.

Course Content

Species of theileria and babesiain cattle, sheep and goats, cats and dogs etc. , their morphology, infection routes, differential diagnosis for the species, clinical signs of the diseases, epidemiology and prevalance of diseases, treatment and control measures.

2.Learns the clinical signs and differential diagnosis of theileriosis ve babesiosis in domestic animals

4.Gains information about the economical impact of diseases in Turkey
5.Understands control measures that can be taken for these diseases.
