Objectives of the Course

The purpose of this course is to give students basic information about labor economics. Working with an eye to economy, the economic life of the lesson study is to provide analysis to edebilmelerine. In this direction, course work and study the basic concepts of economics, the historical background of the working class with the rise of the labor market and the problems of Turkey will be discussed.

Course Content

Profit maximization, description of technology, parametric representation of tecnology, average and marginal costs, the geometry of costs, long and short-run cost curves, pure monopoly, pure competition, The Slutsky equation.
