Objectives of the Course

The course will aim to investigate the physiology and molecular mechanisms of sleep together with sleep disorders .

Course Content

The course will investigate the physiology and molecular mechanisms of sleep. Circadian rythm, the phases of sleep, slow-wave and REM sleep, the neuronal networks and neurochemical systems taking role in the basis of sleep and sleep disorders will be presented.
