The course includes basic and molecular knowledge on genetics.
Features and structure of nucleic acids, organization of genetic material in prokaryotes and eukaryotes, gene expression, regulation of gene expression in prokaryotes and eukaryotes, Mendelian inheritance, factors deviated from Mendel rules, sex determination and sex-linked inheritance, mutations, gene manipulations and genomic analysis.
