Objectives of the Course

The aim of the course is to create a general knowledge and perspective about emotion-cognition, emotion-motive relationship by following current debates on emotions and motivation and to use the information and perspective in dealing with the individual.

Course Content

Emotion, affect and mood conceptions, major theories of emotion; emotion-cognition interaction; contemporary approaches to motivation and theories; the relationship between motives and emotions; development of emotions and motives and their relations with psychopathology.
