Objectives of the Course

To be able to manage and perform the cognitive and developmental evaluation process in the psychological evaluation process: To collect data, make decisions and write reports in accordance with the referral question with a holistic approach.

Course Content

Recognition of frequently used cognitive and developmental measurement tools in clinical practice, recognition of clinical scales, structured and semi-structured interview tools, validity-reliability problems and appropriate use of measurement and assessment tools; Cognitive (SMMT, SMMT-E, KKM, FAB, WMS etc.) and developmental tests (such as WISC-R) application and evaluation principles, report preparation is the content of the course.

1.Know cognitive and developmental tests, clinical scales, structured and semi-structured interview tools and distinguish differences.
2.Understands and attaches importance to the validity and reliability problems and the proper use of measurement and assessment tools.
3.Recognize and apply the features of measurement and evaluation areas.
4.Know the principles of cognitive and developmental tests and evaluation and prepare reports.
5.Knows the principles of psychological evaluation report writing and performs holistic evaluation steps
