The aim of this course is to provide students with a review of emotional changes frequently encountered in psychological problems, to examine the knowledge and findings about the origin, effects and consequences of emotions, and to examine basic emotions.
Definition of emotion, its components and early theories of emotion, different approaches and theories about emotions, biological bases of emotions, cognitive bases of emotions, developmental view and attachment to emotions, emotion regulation, the role of emotions in psychopathology
