Objectives of the Course

The aim is to provide conceptual information about cognitive psychotherapy and to give information about the application of this therapy method. This includes learning the cognitive model in the field of psychopathology and psychotherapy; learning how to formulate a client within the framework of the cognitive model; learning how to apply the cognitive psychotherapy approach with its necessary techniques; and learning about the cognitive treatments of certain psychological disorders.

Course Content

Cognitive explanation of psychopathology, cognitive case formulation, planning of cognitive psychotherapy, structuring of sessions, identification and modification of core beliefs and automatic thoughts.
