Our department is capable of conducting three master programs and two Phd program in terms of existing academic staff. The Department of Educational Sciences has 21 lecturer in total; three professors, two associate professor and two assistant profesors in the Program of Curriculum and Instruction; three professors, three associate professor and one assistant profesor in the Program of Psychological Counseling and Guidance; three professors, three associate professor and one assistant profesor in the Program of Educational Administration.

Adnan Menderes University Faculty of Education was established by the decision of the Council of Ministers dated 01.09.1997 number 97/9892 and started education with 104 students in Classroom Teaching Program in the 2000-2001 academic year. Department of Elementary Education, the Department of Social Studies Teaching and the Department of Science Education was established in the 2003-2004 academic year, the Department of Pre-School Education and the Department of Elementary Mathematics Education and the Department of Fine Arts was established in the academic year 2005-2006. Department of Educational Sciences accepted students for the first time for Graduate Program of Curriculum and Instruction in 2005 and PhD Program of Curriculum and Instruction in 2006.

Department of Educational Sciences aims to train individuals following national and international innovations, having different hobbies, open for new ideas, searching for improving himself/herself and internalizing lifelong learning in the programs; Curriculum and Instruction, Psychological Counseling and Guidance, Educational Administration.

Vision of The Department of Educational Sciences is to educate individuals making researches at national and international level, taking active roles in the developments of Curriculum and Instruction, Psychological Counseling and Guidance, Educational Administration, expressing his/her thoughts freely and respectful to the values.

The Department of Educational Sciences aims to train experts of science and academicians who are specialized in Curriculum and Instruction, Psychological Counseling and Guidance, Educational Administration and who will contribute to scientific knowledge in the programs.

There are 17 classrooms, 5 of them are equipped specially. Also, three classrooms are specially arranged for post-graduate lessons. Furthermore, there are a computer room and a science lab in the faculty. In addition, our faculty is very close to the central library of the university.

All classrooms have smart boards, sound systems and internet infrastructure. Laboratories, private classrooms and postgraduate classrooms are also equipped with the necessary equipment.
