This course purposes to inform students about elderliness period and aging process, help students to assess mental health problems of an elder in a systematic approach and help students to gain different perspectives about care, treatment and rehabilitation of an elder and make students gain advanced level skills about nursing care for geriatric mental health.

This course focuses on elderliness and changes appear in aging process, mental problems seen in elderly care and nursing care and applications of an elder.
