Objectives of the Course

This course focuses on teaching and assessment tonormal and high-risk pregnancy, childbirth and the postpartum period women, fetus and newborn nursing care

Course Content

Pregnancy, childbirth and the postpartum period, family-centered approach, normal and high risk pregnant women, fetuses, maternity, perinatal and neonatal patient safety, includes physical and psychosocial care

6.6. To be able to explain Newborn physiology, physical adaptation, evaluation and care.
7.7. To be able to explain the newborn nutrition and breastfeeding
8.8. To be able to explain the physiology of Postpartum period and care
9.9. To be able to explain the adaptation of parenting
10.10. To analyze and maintain high-risk postpartum period and care
11.To explain the risk of newborn care
12.12. To interpret Prenatal tests and perinatal patient safety
