This course aims to teach; etiology and epidemiology of colorectal cancer, the role of the nurse in the prevention of colorectal cancer, intraoperative interventions in colorectal surgery, the healing process of wound care, stoma care, complications in people with stoma, difficulties of the stoma, the education of patients with stoma and their families
Involves; Colorectal etiology and epidemiology of cancer, the role of nurses in the prevention of colorectal cancer, diagnostic methods for colorectal cancer, colorectal surgery care principles, intraoperative interventions in colorectal surgery, colorectal surgery care in an ethical problem sets, wound care during recovery, stoma care (theoretical), stoma care (practical) , stoma care (case study), stoma complications that could occur in individuals with stoma problems experienced by individuals, educate patients and families
