Objectives of the Course

The aim of this course is to enable students to have detailed information about the morphological characters of insects.

Course Content

Importance of systematics, Importance of taxonomy of insects, evolution of insect, classification and identification of insects, insect biodiversity, sampling or catching insects, preparation of insects, insect morphology, diagnostic characters of insects, insect identification keys, family-level identification of insects
