Objectives of the Course

The aim of this course is to provide comprehensive information about the evolutionary history of aging and death, aging, theories of aging and factors that affect aging such as telomeres, RNA degradation, DNA methylation.

Course Content

Evolutionary history of aging and death, definition of aging, longevity, theories about aging,, cellular aging, aging and genes, cellular aging, the processes determining aging, the relationship between cellular aging and cancer, anti-aging practices.

7.Knows the effect of the nervous system on the length of life.
