Objectives of the Course

1- to help students understanding the relationship between local politics and general politics 2- to provide students with an ability to analyse the extent of general politics towords the local 3- to provide students with an ability to analyse the agents of local politics 4- to provide students an information in order to help them to explain the relationship between local administrations and local politiy 5- to provide students with an ability to discuss political participation in terms of local administrations and local politics

Local Politics, Agents of Local Politics and Local Administrstions; Localisation Movement and Local Adminstrations; the Concept of Local Administrations and Local Administrations systems, Theories of Local Adminstration and contemporary Local Administrations aproaches; Public Administration and Local Administrations; the Concept of Public Service and Local administrations in Turkey; urban management and Municipalism; Globaşisation, Localisation and Local Administrations; Neo-Liberal Policies and Local Administrations; Local Administrations and Local Democracy; Civil Society, Civil Council and Participation; Rights of Town-dwellers and Local Politis; Local Politics, Political Parties and the Centre; Local Power Groups, Local Administrations and Local Politics
