Objectives of the Course

The aim is to teach and discuss the main contributions of thinkers about the problem of social order; to define the meaning of social order; to teach the importance of the social order in social theory; to evaluate critically and analytically elements that constite the social order.

Course Content

What is the social order; What is the importance of the social order in the literatüre; historical and intellectual background of problem of social order; order, stability and social change; social order and conflict; social order and contingency; modern debates; understanding of the social order today.
