Objectives of the Course

The aim of the subject is to know the political, social and economic structures of Aegean and Meditarranean world in Hellenistic Period; to analyse the materials of Anatolia and Western Anatolia in the "Hellenistic Art"with materials; to know the excavations, surveys and publications of Western Anatolia of Hellenistic Period; to know the pottery, glass and metal wares in Western Anatolia; to analyse the caharacteristics of Hellenistic centers of Western Anatolia.

Course Content

"Hellenistic Period" and "Hellenistic Art" in Western Anatolia; pottery, glass and metals in Western Anatolia; ancient cities of Western Anatolia and their materials; excavations, surveys and publications of Hellenistic Western Anatolia.
