Objectives of the Course

As Anatolia spread out a vast area, there are several cultural areas related to geographical conditions. Burial habits as well show some differences region by region in 3rd and 2nd millennia B.C. Burial habits, grave types, grave goods and ceremonies will be evaluated following a chronological and regional order.

Anatolian regional burial customs in the 3rd and 2nd millennia B.C. will be discussed.
