Objectives of the Course

Objective of this course is to explore the oldest oldest questions of the history of humanity and of thought. Following ground-breaking answers to these questions, a more comprehensive perspective is tried to be developed.

Course Content

This course focus on the study of Sumerian, Babylonian, Egyptian, Persian, Hebrew, Indian, Chinese, Turkish and Greek ways of thinking. The fundamental works that are determinative for the thinking of ancient world will be studied.
