Objectives of the Course

To present novel information and tecnuiqes for blood physiology

Course Content

Functions of blood; Plasma, blood cells, plasma proteins, buffering systems; Production of erythrocytes and its control; Hb; Anemia, Polycythemia; Leukocytes, macrophages and inflammation, Leukemia, agranulocytosis; Immunology and allergy; Blood groups, transfusion; Platelets (Thrombocytes); Hemostasis and clotting of blood; Fibrinolysis; Disorders of clotting; Lymphoid tissues and spleen.
