Objectives of the Course

To teach the meanings of commentary and translation concepts and introduce the texts samples.

Course Content

Şerh and şârih concepts Tercüme and mütercim concepts Commentary texts in verse. Commentary texts in prose. Masnavî commentaries and translations in 16th century. Commentaryies and translations of the dîvân of Hafız in 16th century.
