Objectives of the Course

With this course the student learns historical&cultural backgrounds of Classical Turkish Poetry, understands the classical poems reflections of the Ottoman social life and so recognizes these poems may a material for the cultural history .

1.At the end of the course the student understands to interpret different aspects of the meaning connections between the upper and lower text.
2.Recognizes the scientific works about ghazel form.
3.Learns the form of ghazel, technical and esthetic features of the form of ghazel.
4.Learns historical development of the form of ghazel.
5.At the end of the course students will be able to , Take knowledge the Kaside form at the Classical Turkish Literature.
6.Make acquire necessary theroretical knowledge. Understand historical texts by practical studies concerning the subjects.
