Objectives of the Course

Introduce the Turkic languages family as a whole start out from regular phonetic changes and parallelism.

Course Content

Classification of Turkic languages. Phonetic property of proto-Turkic. Development of the Proto-Turkic vocals in Turkic languages. Regular phonetic equivalent between Turkic languages.

4.The students are able to collect the data on Turkish dialects, comment on them, and apply them in their studies; they control them in terms of scientific, cultural, artistic, social, and ethic date, and they explain these values.
5.The students are aware of the views on the classification of Turkish dialects.
