Objectives of the Course

The course aims at ascertaining the comparative grammar elements among contemporary Turkish accents; analyzing the texts of these accents by doing a linguistic examination of Turkish accents.

The detection and classification of Turkish language’s geography. A comparative analysis on the Turkish dialects of Oghuz, Kypchyk, Qarluq

1.The students are able to define what the place of contemporary Turkish dialect and accents in Turkish language is.
2.The students are able to clarify the importance and linguistic properties of contemporary Turkish dialect and accents in Turkish language.
3.The students identify the roots of contemporary Turkish dialect and accents, and exemplify them.
4.The students determine the linguistic features of the works written by contemporary accents.
5.The students are able to assess and speculate the words exposed to the phonetic and morphological modifications in the texts of contemporary Turkish dialect and accent.
