In the Department of Public Finance (Aydın Economics), which started education in the Master's Program with Thesis in the 2016/2017 academic year, education is currently provided in the PhD program in addition to the Master's programs with and without thesis.There are a total of 8 teaching staff, 2 Professors, 3 Associate Professors, 1 Doctor Teaching Staff, 2 Research Assistants, in the staff of our Department at Aydın Faculty of Economics.
History
In the 2016/2017 academic year, students were admitted to the Public Finance and Tax Applications Master's Program with Thesis. In the ongoing process, in the 2017/2018 academic year, in addition to the Master's program with thesis, student admission to the Public Finance and Tax Applications Non-Thesis Master's Program has started. In the 2018/2019 academic year, student admission has also started in the Public Finance and Tax Applications PhD program, and education continues in thesis, Non-Thesis and Doctorate programs as of 2018/2019.
Mission
The mission of the Department of Public Finance is to train finance and financial experts to all banks and financial institutions and government agencies.
Vision
The vision of The Department of Public Finance is to train experts who are capable of being manager, consultant and trainers in public and private industries, stock markets, banking, insurance and international institutions.
Purpose
Dominate the area of public finance, train experts with sufficient knowledge to work in any position of financial institutions.
Physical Infrastructure
Our department is located in Aydın Faculty of Economics, which is in Aydın Adnan Menderes University Central Campus. The faculty building has an administrative block consisting of 3 floors and a classrooms block consisting of 2 floors, with a closed area of 7318 m² sitting on a ground of 1,939 m². In addition, there are 14 classrooms, 6 for 50 people, 3 for 60 people, 2 for 90 people and 3 for 100 people, and 2 Master's classrooms for 30 people and 3 for 10 people. There is a Computer Laboratory for 52 persons also.
Technical Infrastructure
Each classroom has a computer, internet access and a projector. Projectors and presentation facilities are also available in graduate classrooms. In addition, a computer laboratory for 52 people is available for the use of our students. Due to the proximity of our building to the central library, our students can easily benefit from all the facilities of the library.
