Objectives of the Course

In order to analyze the effects examine the formation and development of the informal economy in developing countries.

Course Content

Definition and elements of the informal economy, the relationship between the informal and formal economy, the reasons for the emergence of the informal economy, the dimensions of the informal economy in Turkey, the consequences of the informal economy and tax losses, the effect of the informal economy on employment, the international dimension of the informal economy .

1.o be able to have information about the dual nature of the economy in developing countries.
2.To be able to understand the informal economic structure and comparatively analyzed the effects.
3.To be able to distinguish between the informal economic structure and transformation factors on the illegal economic structure.
4.To be able to evaluate how informal economic activities creates employment opportunities and income for the poor people.
5.To be able to know ways to combat resources of corruption economic in developing countries.
6.To be able to analyzes the dilemmas of central and local political authorities on the subject.
