Learning the basic principles of restorations in anterior and posterior teeth and restorative materials used in pediatric dentistry are almost identical to materials used in general restorative dentistry. In this section, it is aimed to define the materials frequently used in child dentistry and to provide specific information about their use. There are many materials available and in most cases the appropriate material is chosen according to the clinical situation.
Basic principles in restoration of anterior and posterior primary teeth, different materials used in primary teeth which have excessive material loss due to caries and traumatic injuries and treatment techniques will be explained. Restorative materials used in pediatric dentistry; Teaching bases and liners, cavity lacquers, dentin bonding agents, restorative materials and cements.
