Dr. Hatice ÖNER and Assist. Dr. Sevil ÖZCAN has been continuing its activities since the 2018-2019 academic year with its staff.

The Department of Environmental Health continues its activities as an academic unit of the Institute of Health Sciences, which was established with the Law No. 3837 dated 03.07.1992 according to the 19th Article of the Law No. 2547 and started its activities in the 1996-1997 Academic Year. Within the Department, which has interdisciplinary programs; Environmental Health Master's (with Thesis) and Environmental Health Doctorate programs are available. Our Environmental Health Department Presidency accepts the first student; In the 2018-2019 Academic Year Spring Semester, it started and continues its educational activities with a total of 10 students, including 1 doctoral student and 9 graduate students.

In an environment that will allow students to reveal their potential, they will contribute to science at national and international level by conducting independent research, have creative, rational, productive, contemporary and scientific thinking, can follow the developments in the world, can apply their knowledge and skills to different fields, have a developed sense of social responsibility, to train individuals who can evaluate and interpret with a broad perspective and bring innovations to science with their studies.

Nationally and internationally respected and preferred in the interdisciplinary field, competent in the field, having scientific thinking, contemporary and open to communication, respectful to human values, ethical values, environmental awareness, able to lead the society in changing world conditions, corporate culture, graduates academic and research is to be an institution that trains scientists and experts with international standards who are accepted by the environment and can produce solutions to problems.

Students are able to present scientific studies at national and international level, to follow and interpret developments in the world, to contribute to the literature on a universal scale, to increase their postgraduate thesis quality, to transfer known methods to new application areas, to have scientific ethical values, to have high social awareness, to question and to produce solutions. It is one of our main objectives.

The Department of Environmental Health has the modern equipment and equipment required by this education and sufficient faculty members.
