Objectives of the Course

To explain the viral, chemical and physical carcinogenic agent concepts, mechanisms and the stages of cancer formation in factors that are effective in carcinogenesis.

Course Content

Topics such as the concept of carcinogenesis, Chemical Carcinogenesis and Mechanisms, Viral carcinogenesis, Genetic susceptibility to carcinogenesis, Carcinogenic agents and DNA repair will be covered.

1.To identify viral, physical and chemical agents and their molecular biological properties that are effective in carcinogenesis and to comprehend the properties of the biological changes that occur.
2.To explain the cancer development relationship due to different carcinogenic agents
3.To know and learn the role of viral carcinogenic agents in carcinogenesis
4.To know and learn the role of chemical carcinogenic agents in cancer,
5.To know and learn the role of physical carcinogenic agents in cancer
6.To understand the molecular properties and their reflection on the clinic in the stages of carcinogenesis development and carcinogenesis related genes
