Objectives of the Course

It is aimed to understand the evaluation of cancer tissues and cytological materials by molecular pathological methods and genetic analysis.

Course Content

In pathology, immunohistochemistry, examination of immunofluorescence methods, in situ hybridization (chromogeny-based, fluorescent-based), evaluation of genetic analysis in pathological tissue and its reflection to the clinic will be explained.

1.Learns the molecular basis of cancer and signaling pathways in the process of carcinogenesis
2.Learns growth signals, cancer-specific mutations, apoptosis
3.Learn the role of microRNAs in carcinogenesis
4.Learns and applies molecular methods used in diagnosis and monitoring in pathology.
5.Learns the genetic methods used in diagnosis and monitoring in pathology, applies them and examines their reflection in the clinic.
