Objectives of the Course

To understand the Quaternary period that is known as most important time of geology.

Course Content

Concepts, general characteristics of Quaternary period, Quaternary deposits, geomorphological units, climatical changes during the Quaternary period, genesis of Quaternary soils, importance of agricultural and expansion areas in Turkey.
