Objectives of the Course

The aim of this course is to enable students to determine the nutrient requirements of farm animals, evaluate the nutritional value of feedstuffs, and formulate balanced, economical, and practical rations for different animal species and physiological stages. The course also aims to provide knowledge and practical skills in ration formulation methods, feeding standards, feed additives, computer-assisted ration formulation software, and cost-effective feed planning.
