Objectives of the Course

The aim of this course is to provide students with knowledge of feedstuffs used in animal nutrition, feed classification, feed technology, and feed quality control methods. The course also aims to develop theoretical knowledge and practical skills in feed production, processing, storage, and the selection of appropriate feeds for different animal species.

Course Content

This course covers the classification of feedstuffs, their chemical composition, roughages and concentrates, feed additives, feed technology, feed processing methods, silage production, feed storage techniques, feed quality control, feed hygiene, feed manufacturing plants, feed legislation, and practical evaluation of feeds used for different animal species.

Name of Lecturer(s)
