Objectives of the Course

The aim of this course is to enable students to understand the psychological, social and cultural factors affecting human behavior and to evaluate individual, group and consumer behaviors within the context of public relations, advertising, marketing and digital communication processes.

Course Content

This course covers the fundamental concepts of psychology, sociology, and social psychology that explain individual, group, and consumer behavior, as well as the psychological and social processes affecting human behavior. The course aims to enable students to analyze needs, motivation, personality, perception, learning, attitudes, culture, social influence, and consumer behavior within the context of public relations and promotion.

1.Explains the fundamental concepts, scope, and basic approaches of behavioral sciences that explain human behavior.
2.Analyzes the psychological, social, and cultural factors affecting human behavior.
3.Evaluates behavioral science concepts such as needs, motivation, personality, perception, learning, and attitudes in terms of individual and target audience behaviors.
4.Analyzes consumer behavior and the consumer decision-making process from the perspective of public relations and promotion.
5.Applies behavioral science knowledge to target audience analysis, consumer insight, and the development of communication strategies.
6.Relates the fundamental theories and approaches of behavioral sciences to public relations, advertising, and marketing communication practices.
