The aim of this course is to enable students to learn the processes of news gathering, news writing, news editing, interviewing, news verification, and digital news production through practical application; and to contribute to their ability to transform their theoretical journalism knowledge into practice in a news workshop environment.
The course covers news value, news sources, news gathering techniques, field reporting, interview techniques, news writing, headline and lead generation, news editing, ethical principles, verification methods, mobile journalism, digital journalism applications, and news production workshops.
