The aim of this course is to enable students to learn the fundamental concepts, theories, and practices in the field of health communication, to acquire the skills to plan public relations activities in healthcare institutions, to develop health campaigns, and to create effective communication strategies in the healthcare field.
Basic concepts of health communication, health literacy, health communication models, patient-physician communication, public relations practices in healthcare institutions, health campaigns, health communication during crises, social media and health communication, digital health communication, health journalism, ethical principles, and current health communication practices.
