Objectives of the Course

The aim of this course is to enable students to understand the fundamental concepts and principles of Information Technology Law, evaluate legal issues arising from information technologies and the Internet, analyze current legal regulations concerning cybercrimes, personal data protection, electronic commerce, and digital rights, and develop the ability to propose legal solutions in these areas.

Course Content

This course examines the fundamental concepts of Information Technology Law, cybercrimes, personal data protection, legal issues related to the Internet and social media, cybersecurity, electronic commerce, electronic signatures, and digital rights.

4.Develops legal arguments concerning issues related to the Internet.
5.Follows current developments regarding the legal regulation of emerging technologies.
