Objectives of the Course

To teach the fundamental concepts related to the relationships among plant cells, tissues, and organs, as well as the internal and external morphology and anatomical structures of seed plants.

Course Content

This course covers an introduction to botany, the structure and functions of the plant cell (cytology), plant tissues (histology), the morphological and anatomical characteristics of roots, stems, leaves, flowers, fruits, and seeds, as well as the importance of plant morphology and anatomy in agricultural production.
