The aim of this course is to enable students to learn the fundamental legal principles relating to the tourism sector, consumer rights and the legal liabilities of tourism businesses. The course covers tourism legislation, consumer protection, package tour contracts, accommodation contracts, the liabilities of travel agents and dispute resolution mechanisms.
This course examines the fundamental legal regulations governing the tourism industry and the principles of consumer protection. Topics include tourism legislation, accommodation and package tour contracts, responsibilities of travel agencies and hospitality businesses, consumer rights, defective services, complaint handling, and dispute resolution mechanisms. The course also addresses personal data protection, digital consumer rights, and ethical responsibilities in tourism, aiming to develop students' legal awareness and professional responsibility in tourism-related activities.
