The Architectural Restoration Program aims to train restorative technicians to protect immovable and portable cultural assets against all negative factors without changing their physical and visual properties, to stop wear and to repair the destroyed and ruined sections in accordance with scientific principles and in this context, a two-year preliminary is an undergraduate program. Within the scope of theoretical and practical education, students will learn about conservation concepts, the basic principles and methods of restoration and conservation, the survey of traditional buildings and building elements, their analysis, determination of their current status and drawing of restoration and restilution projects, gaining basic knowledge about traditional handicrafts, its history They are trained to use the methods of using photography in inventories and carving of works and to gain the theory and skills to work in restoration laboratories. Graduates of the program can continue their four-year undergraduate education by transferring to the departments of Architecture, Interior Architecture, Old Tile Repairs, Traditional Turkish Handicraft Teaching, Traditional Turkish Handicrafts with the Vertical Transfer Exam (DGS). The language of instruction of the program is Turkish.
History
It started its educational activities with 25 students under the name of Architectural Restoration Program in 2002-2003 academic year within Karacasu Vocational School. The historical buildings in the district of Karacasu played an important role in the opening of this section.
Mission
The mission of our Architectural Restoration Program is to train restorator technicians who carry out the process of stopping the wear of immovable and movable cultural assets and repairing the destroyed and ruined parts in accordance with scientific principles in our country, which has a history of thousands of years.
Vision
Internationally recognized for his research on the technical and theoretical dimensions of architectural conservation; To be a research and education institution that contributes to contemporary and universal practices with the young conservationists it has trained, The aim of training is to enable the experts to be trained as a result of the training program to define the values and problems of cultural assets, to cooperate with other sciences and experts, to participate in interdisciplinary working groups and to gain the ability to apply the basic methods within their own disciplines.
Purpose

Physical Infrastructure
Our school consists of two buildings and one of these buildings operates as a workshop. According to the theoretical and practical courses of the Architectural Restoration Program, courses are taught in both buildings. The main building consists of three floors, excluding the ground floor, and has eighteen classrooms, excluding administrative staff rooms. The workshop building consists of one floor except the ground floor and this building consists of special classes such as technical drawing, computer-aided design laboratory, restoration workshop for the restoration program.
Technical Infrastructure
The physical infrastructure in both our workshop building and the main building has been designed and developed in accordance with education. Internet access is available in each classroom and workshop and supported by Eduroam connection. In addition, there are 3 computer labs, two technical drawing studios and one restoration workshop.
