The aim of this course is to raise awareness among students about the sustainable use of water resources, contribute to their understanding of water-saving practices at individual and institutional levels, and develop individuals who can generate solutions for water efficiency by understanding the relationship between climate change and water management.
The course covers the importance of water resources, global and national water issues, water footprint, the relationship between climate change and water resources, water efficiency practices in agriculture, industry and domestic use, rainwater harvesting, greywater reuse, sustainable water management, and water conservation methods. Practical examples of water-saving applications that can be implemented in daily life will also be discussed.
