Objectives of the Course

Students will learn the mythology of the geography of Adnan Menderes University and be aware of the environment in which they live during their education; Recognize the mentality and culture of the people who lived in ancient times; seeing cultural interaction and continuity; To learn the ancient Greek and Roman mythology.

Course Content

The temples, anthropomorphic features, epiphanyes and cult ceremonies of ancient Greek and Roman gods will be explained; The epics of Homer will be studied and the literary and archaeological sites and literary epiphany and archeological epiphany will be compared. The metaphors used in Homer epics will be examined; hermeneutic method will be explained; Ancient Greek and Roman mythology will be taught.
